I always thought Wishmaster was very summery. Once is fallish. Angels Fall First is springy. Oceanborn is wintery. Dark Passion Play is summery/springy.

What are your thoughts?

If I had to pick a time of year for Nightwish as a whole, I’d pick midwinter and/or midsummer. For separate albums, though…

Initially, I was going to say that Angels Fall First feels like late fall to me— close to the end of November. But Beauty and the Beast makes me think of early- to mid-summer; Nymphomaniac Fantasia, and Astral Romance feel like a really hot summer (heavy, potent); Angels Fall First is late summer, early fall (nostalgia, pain, bitterness). So, summer in general.

Oceanborn was late spring and summer - probably because that’s what I associate water (the titular ‘ocean’) with, but there are lyrics that make me think ‘winter’.Tracks that stand out are Gethsemane (Easter, spring melancholy), Oceanborn (late, dark winter), Moondance (also dark winter), The Pharaoh Sails to Orion (fall, winter, the Orionid meteor shower is at its peak on October 20, Orion’s belt is best visible in January).

Wishmaster is spring - filled with nostalgic, almost painful wanderlust. Sleepwalker strikes me as a midsummer night, though.

Over the Hills and Far Away isn’t a full album, but the way it’s put together makes me think of late winter/spring.

Century Child is summer - alternately light and wistful, and heavy and violent.

Once is summer, except for White Night Fantasy, which is winter.

Dark Passion Play is spring and summer.

Imaginaerum is winter.

Seriously! I mean, I’m sure Portland is lovely - I’d actually like to move there in the next few years. But I don’t think it’s the place for royalty. Maybe he’d like the black sheep of his family. Maybe he didn’t want to help the verrat and his family disowned him. I don’t know why but I feel like doesn’t have a wesen form, just a human one.

Oh yeah, what if the point of him not having a wesen form is that it’s always humans who are the most dangerous, after all? XD

Why are there so many confessions about gangbangs? I’ve been away from the fandom for months so I missed both the show and the fandom’s development, so I really don’t get it.

Is it some sort of fandom in-joke or are people…serious. Not that I particularly mind either way, it’s just…there’s a lot of people calling for gangbangs and it’s a bit frightening.

EDIT: Just to clarify, if you’re into gangbangs, that’s a-ok, it’s your kink, your thing, and I’m not going to read it or complain or anything (tbh I wish I was as hardcore as that but it’s legitimately frightening to me). I’m actually just curious about how it all started and why it’s still a thing that is…going on, I guess?
